About Our Commerical Carpet Cleaning Procedure:
There are two primary methods of carpet cleaning---dry cleaning and hot water extraction (also known as steam cleaning.) The overwhelming demand for hot water extraction cleaning speaks to its effectiveness for most situations. Hot water extraction forces a mixture of carpet cleaning chemicals with hot water into the carpet at a high pressure. The water and dirt is then vacuumed back out of the carpet. For small carpets we use portable extraction in which a machine using hot tap water is used. These machines are powered by electricity. For larger jobs, truck mounted extraction is used. In this case, the water is heated to a very hot temperature in the van in which the equipment is affixed. The extraction equipment motor allows for a higher velocity of spray than the electricity-powered machines.
